1914 - "Real Indian children" laugh at costumes worn by kids who went to see a Hiawatha performance
1914 - A performance of Hiawatha was being performed, and non-Native kids came to the show dressed as Indians, cowboys and boy scouts.
[ This part makes me laugh.]
"The real Indian children who stood at the gate to welcome their visitors and distribute souvenirs at times were convulsed with laughter when they saw some of the costumes so evidently made by mother for the occasion, so there was entertainment for everyone."
